NEKTON-Biotin is a vitamin complex for feather formation for all birds. NEKTON-Biotin supports the smooth molting process and feather regeneration. NEKTON-Biotin contains all essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals, trace elements, and 200,000 µg of biotin/kg. NEKTON-Biotin gives birds soft, shiny feathers. The majority of feather damage occurring in bird breeding can be attributed exclusively to malnutrition. Since feathers are composed of a protein-rich substance, a particularly protein-rich diet is essential for the development of a pure plumage. The daily diet must contain sufficient vitamins, minerals, and trace elements for the metabolism. The majority of animal losses occurring during the molting period are due to insufficient or unbalanced protein intake and/or an insufficient supply of vitamins and minerals. The unfavorable amino acid ratio in most plant feeds has been clearly considered and balanced in the composition of NEKTON-Biotin. No other vitamin complex should be given while using NEKTON-Biotin. NEKTON-Biotin is soluble in cold water and can be easily administered via drinking water or soft feed. Further information: The protein ingested with the feed is broken down in the bird's digestive tract into individual protein bases (amino acids) and thus builds up the naturally occurring protein bases needed for feather development. Feather growth during nesting and feather regeneration in molting birds are very complex processes and are associated with particularly high stress on the entire animal's body. In cases of severe feather damage, a double or even triple dose of NEKTON-Biotin can be given initially, until the first signs of feather regeneration appear. After that, the normal dose is sufficient until feather regeneration is complete. A green measuring spoon is included with each bottle of NEKTON-Biotin.
